Two Boulder Poems
Travel in my palm
All the soothsayers
and astrologers
say I have travel
in my palm.
Yet I never
go anywhere
but here.
But this is where
it all takes place,
this going back and forth
between the realms.
Is this what they mean?

I have made love
my business
and where has it
gotten me?
Nothing I would
care to share
with listeners.
Only this being
alone
night after night
with the Beloved,
faint with kisses.
