Greg Braden––His Wisdom

I listened to a presentation from Greg Braden this morning.  He is one of my favorite internet teachers.  Greg has always been far out, someone who tests the boundaries of conventional thinking and often says things that mainstream society does not accept.  I do not always agree with Greg's thinking but he always gives me new insights to consider.  Here are some of the highlights of his recent talk:

Greg does not believe that our current pandemic comes from animals.  He says all the evidence from recent research suggests that the virus has a human source, likely arising from a lab accident that unleashed the corona virus.  He does not think the virus was intentionally released, but, rather, was the result of human error.

Greg is very wary of the much touted vaccine that will soon be offered.  He noted that often vaccines such as this utilize certain metals to speed production and preservation (? not certain of this).  These metals can be quite harmful to our human systems, and thus he plans to avoid the vaccine.  In fact, Greg feels that if we are in good health we can simply rely on our own defenses to ward off the infection.  Greg advocates diet (no meat), exercise, sleep and other familiar practices to keep ourselves primed to avoid infection.

He is a strong advocate of supplements, since our foods now provide limited nourishment.  He especially recommends Vitamin C and Vitamin B to strengthen our immune systems.

Greg also feels that it is a good thing that Tesla's plan to build towers to circulate free energy never came into production.  He says that such engineering would have had serious negative impacts on human health, for it would have somehow made of certain metal structures unintentional receivers of such energy.  He said high rise buildings would no longer have been possible and that such structures as the Golden Gate Bridge would have also been such unwanted receivers.

Really love Greg and his far out ideas.

A Deep Mystical Experience while "Asleep"

The following is from the NDE (Near Death Experience) Monthly Newsletter.  It is a classic mystical experience that occurred when the writer was asleep.  It suggests what we all might experience, once we are released from physical form.

This NDE happened on 2/9/20 at 53 years of age. My first NDE was when I was 4, near drowning, without much detail but I came back with knowledge of God’s existence which has led to being a lifelong seeker of truth.

I woke up at 5 a.m. with the full moon shining in between the slats of the blinds in my room. I got up, opened the blinds and admired the moon. Then I went back to bed and fell asleep. While I was dreaming some ordinary dream, a few small, pastel-colored balls of light floated into the scene. The dream brightened with another kind of light the orbs seemed to emit: a soft, white light that made everything in my dream fade into the background.

I then went with these orbs without question. I found myself just above the atmosphere in space. I was completely lucid and thought, “It’s happening,” meaning I thought I had died. I felt a sense of excitement and wonder. I didn’t even think about my body or about anything or anyone I loved on earth. There was complete detachment or no remembrance of my earthly life during my experience, which after I came back, I thought was odd but not distressing. I don’t think it meant my life or the people I love here aren’t important to me, it was more about being in the present moment in order to limit distraction. It was a completely natural feeling to be so present without any sense of concern or burden.

Right after I had the thought that I had died, I looked to the right and saw many white wisps floating up into space from the earth at different intervals, and I knew they were souls of people who had just died too.

Then, I had this incredible desire to be with Jesus. The intensity of that feeling surprised me because even though on earth I had been drawn to Jesus and loved him, the desire to see him while in spirit was all-consuming. I shot upward with amazing speed, but then I wanted to see the earth below so I slowed until I just hovered there looking at all the stars around me in awe. I also had this sense there wasn’t time to gaze at the earth, but that thought seemed to come from outside of myself, from other beings, even though I didn’t see them.

I thought about earth again, and just like that I was floating above a building but didn’t know where. When I thought about touching it, an opaque form of my hand appeared and when I touched the wall, my hand felt its density but went right through. It was so strange. So, with greater speed I flew through the wall and didn’t feel a thing.

I realized I was in a nursing home. I moved along the ceiling, through walls until I came to a room with two very old women with dementia in their beds, awake and in some kind of mental distress. I noticed a soft, green glow coming from me as I moved closer to them. The first woman looked up and started smiling with joy in my direction and I realized she could see me! The light from me touched her and she kind of babbled at me but she was so happy. The other woman next to her reacted in the same way, and when I thought about touching her cheek with my hand in a healing way, again my hand appeared with a green glow and I felt her face. She cupped her hand over mine and it just merged into my hand because my own wasn't solid. And by her joyful reaction, she seemed to feel it too. I am a nurse on this earthly plane and I’ve cared for many people with memory problems, so to help in spirit felt so natural to me but in a different way. It was just more immediately satisfying and joyful because the heaviness of my human body and mind was nonexistent. All that flowed from me was love, and I received their love in return.

I went up through the ceiling into the night sky and then I thought about the ocean. As a human, I just love the ocean! I looked down and the waves were breaking on a somewhat frozen shore. I thought about just diving in but it looked cold. So I just skimmed the water with my hand and it wasn’t freezing, just cool. I remember thinking it was odd that I was concerned about the temperature of the water. It was such a human thought. Whereas, when I had been flying around in space, I had no such thoughts; it was as natural as breathing.

Then, Jesus came to mind again and I shot up into space among the stars until I would reach a certain distance where I would stop then drift back down near earth. I felt like this happened a few times, not because something or someone stopped me, but because I was just so fascinated by all the wonders around. I felt like a kid at Disneyland for the first time, multiplied by a thousand. If you're thinking, why don’t I describe what I saw, it’s just not possible with any detail. Awe is indescribable.

Again, I thought intently about Jesus but I could only get so far in space before I stopped. But this time I felt like a force stopped me from going further and from even calling out his name. Perhaps if I had been allowed, I wouldn’t have been able to return. I remember hovering in space feeling disappointed and I said to myself, “Where is Jesus?”

Just when I wondered why I couldn’t see him, I saw a light across the darkness in space that was different than the light of the stars. I personally knew this light. I did not go to the light. The light came closer to me and expanded. It undulated like a white glowing ember enfolded in a nebula with its pink and billowing dark smokey grays. The light stopped before it engulfed me and for a few moments I connected with the essence of the light which was complete love. And in those moments, we were one. This was not the Jesus I expected to see, but I didn’t question, I simply accepted.

Love is just a word we use for the experience that love IS. The light didn’t speak because there are no words that exist to label or describe its BE-ING.

When the light dissipated, I audibly heard, as if I had ears, a singular male voice start singing the first few lines of a song, a cappella. The melody and words were familiar, “Wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father...” The song goes on but those were the only words I heard. (The verse from Isaiah 6:9 is talking about Jesus, the Prince of Peace.)

As that voice faded, it felt like I floated like a feather back into my body and my eyes opened. The sun had just come up. Then I realized I was still alive! All throughout this very religious experience, that didn’t seem religious at all while I was in it, I didn’t know I would come back to my body. The thing is, however spiritually amazing that experience was, I wasn’t upset to be back on earth. I was just calm and in awe.

I accept that who I am spiritually has only been partially revealed to me. I don’t think as a human I can truly understand the sheer glory and magnitude of the soul and God. I know what I need to know and the rest is faith. I trust the divine purpose of faith.

My after-effects include an increased sense that my life here on earth is limited. That I have a purpose waiting for me in the other side, but I must be patient for the call to go home, so while I’m here, to take advantage of loving myself and others unconditionally, because this is not easy to do in human form but doing so is healing not only for me but others as well.

What’s challenging is knowing what it’s like to be consciousness/soul without the limitations of a body/intellect and then to come back to a world with so many others (including myself) caught up in worry/fear to some degree. To know experientially what it’s like to be completely free of fear and “worldliness” and then to come back and be subject to it personally again, and witness others go suffer through it too, feels even more oppressive. But there’s no escape, only transcendence.

I’ve found myself more sensitive to pain and grief for myself and humanity which has led to even greater compassion and love, including forgiveness.

My spiritual eyes have been opened to see through illusions/lies within myself, others, society, systems, to see the painful truth of how we manipulate and hurt ourselves and others because we are entrenched in fear. And that fear needs to be seen and acknowledged. And the destructive things we’ve done, and their consequences need to be laid bare before us so that we can feel that pain, grieve, and then show ourselves compassion and unconditional love. Then we can show others true compassion and love too. This is how love transcends fear. It’s an acceptance, an integration with pure love as the driver. A return to wholeness.

An Irish writer on the plight of America

Here’s what Ireland’s most respected mainstream political writer says about America. 🇮🇪 ☘️ 🇮🇪 Read and weep dear friends...Cry for the state of this country and our seeming powerlessness on this day to set it right.
Irish Times-April 25, 2020-By Fintan O’Toole
THE WORLD HAS LOVED, HATED AND ENVIED THE U.S. NOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME, WE PITY IT
Over more than two centuries, the United States has stirred a very wide range of feelings in the rest of the world: love and hatred, fear and hope, envy and contempt, awe and anger. But there is one emotion that has never been directed towards the US until now: pity.
However bad things are for most other rich democracies, it is hard not to feel sorry for Americans. Most of them did not vote for Donald Trump in 2016. Yet they are locked down with a malignant narcissist who, instead of protecting his people from Covid-19, has amplified its lethality. The country Trump promised to make great again has never in its history seemed so pitiful.
Will American prestige ever recover from this shameful episode? The US went into the coronavirus crisis with immense advantages: precious weeks of warning about what was coming, the world’s best concentration of medical and scientific expertise, effectively limitless financial resources, a military complex with stunning logistical capacity and most of the world’s leading technology corporations. Yet it managed to make itself the global epicentre of the pandemic.
As the American writer George Packer puts it in the current edition of the Atlantic, “The United States reacted ... like Pakistan or Belarus – like a country with shoddy infrastructure and a dysfunctional government whose leaders were too corrupt or stupid to head off mass suffering.”
It is one thing to be powerless in the face of a natural disaster, quite another to watch vast power being squandered in real time – wilfully, malevolently, vindictively. It is one thing for governments to fail (as, in one degree or another, most governments did), quite another to watch a ruler and his supporters actively spread a deadly virus. Trump, his party and Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News became vectors of the pestilence.
The grotesque spectacle of the president openly inciting people (some of them armed) to take to the streets to oppose the restrictions that save lives is the manifestation of a political death wish. What are supposed to be daily briefings on the crisis, demonstrative of national unity in the face of a shared challenge, have been used by Trump merely to sow confusion and division. They provide a recurring horror show in which all the neuroses that haunt the American subconscious dance naked on live TV.
If the plague is a test, its ruling political nexus ensured that the US would fail it at a terrible cost in human lives. In the process, the idea of the US as the world’s leading nation – an idea that has shaped the past century – has all but evaporated.
Other than the Trump impersonator Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil, who is now looking to the US as the exemplar of anything other than what not to do? How many people in Düsseldorf or Dublin are wishing they lived in Detroit or Dallas?
It is hard to remember now but, even in 2017, when Trump took office, the conventional wisdom in the US was that the Republican Party and the broader framework of US political institutions would prevent him from doing too much damage. This was always a delusion, but the pandemic has exposed it in the most savage ways.
Abject surrender
What used to be called mainstream conservatism has not absorbed Trump – he has absorbed it. Almost the entire right-wing half of American politics has surrendered abjectly to him. It has sacrificed on the altar of wanton stupidity the most basic ideas of responsibility, care and even safety.
Thus, even at the very end of March, 15 Republican governors had failed to order people to stay at home or to close non-essential businesses. In Alabama, for example, it was not until April 3rd that governor Kay Ivey finally issued a stay-at-home order.
In Florida, the state with the highest concentration of elderly people with underlying conditions, governor Ron DeSantis, a Trump mini-me, kept the beach resorts open to students travelling from all over the US for spring break parties. Even on April 1st, when he issued restrictions, DeSantis exempted religious services and “recreational activities”.
Georgia governor Brian Kemp, when he finally issued a stay-at-home order on April 1st, explained: “We didn’t know that [the virus can be spread by people without symptoms] until the last 24 hours.”
This is not mere ignorance – it is deliberate and homicidal stupidity. There is, as the demonstrations this week in US cities have shown, plenty of political mileage in denying the reality of the pandemic. It is fuelled by Fox News and far-right internet sites, and it reaps for these politicians millions of dollars in donations, mostly (in an ugly irony) from older people who are most vulnerable to the coronavirus.
It draws on a concoction of conspiracy theories, hatred of science, paranoia about the “deep state” and religious providentialism (God will protect the good folks) that is now very deeply infused in the mindset of the American right.
Trump embodies and enacts this mindset, but he did not invent it. The US response to the coronavirus crisis has been paralysed by a contradiction that the Republicans have inserted into the heart of US democracy. On the one hand, they want to control all the levers of governmental power. On the other they have created a popular base by playing on the notion that government is innately evil and must not be trusted.
The contradiction was made manifest in two of Trump’s statements on the pandemic: on the one hand that he has “total authority”, and on the other that “I don’t take responsibility at all”. Caught between authoritarian and anarchic impulses, he is incapable of coherence.
Fertile ground
But this is not just Donald Trump. The crisis has shown definitively that Trump’s presidency is not an aberration. It has grown on soil long prepared to receive it. The monstrous blossoming of misrule has structure and purpose and strategy behind it.
There are very powerful interests who demand “freedom” in order to do as they like with the environment, society and the economy. They have infused a very large part of American culture with the belief that “freedom” is literally more important than life. My freedom to own assault weapons trumps your right not to get shot at school. Now, my freedom to go to the barber (“I Need a Haircut” read one banner this week in St Paul, Minnesota) trumps your need to avoid infection.
Usually when this kind of outlandish idiocy is displaying itself, there is the comforting thought that, if things were really serious, it would all stop. People would sober up. Instead, a large part of the US has hit the bottle even harder.
And the president, his party and their media allies keep supplying the drinks. There has been no moment of truth, no shock of realisation that the antics have to end. No one of any substance on the US right has stepped in to say: get a grip, people are dying here.
That is the mark of how deep the trouble is for the US – it is not just that Trump has treated the crisis merely as a way to feed tribal hatreds but that this behaviour has become normalised. When the freak show is live on TV every evening, and the star is boasting about his ratings, it is not really a freak show any more. For a very large and solid bloc of Americans, it is reality.
And this will get worse before it gets better. Trump has at least eight more months in power. In his inaugural address in 2017, he evoked “American carnage” and promised to make it stop. But now that the real carnage has arrived, he is revelling in it. He is in his element.
As things get worse, he will pump more hatred and falsehood, more death-wish defiance of reason and decency, into the groundwater. If a new administration succeeds him in 2021, it will have to clean up the toxic dump he leaves behind. If he is re-elected, toxicity will have become the lifeblood of American politics.
Either way, it will be a long time before the rest of the world can imagine America being great again.

A Musical Detour

A Musical Detour

I meant to scan my mail inbox, see if there was anything personal for me, but on the way got detoured by sound.  First, I ran across the gorgeous "Flower  Song" from Delibe's opera "Lakme." Then I was captured by Renee Fleming's "Casta Diva".  And lastly it was the beautiful Aida Garifullina also singing "Casta Diva".  All of these are on Youtube and have been seen and heard by millions.

I noticed that Aida's performance seemed to have an unusual number of Asians in the orchestra and then I read that she was singing in Seoul.  I was also pleased at the number of women in this orchestra.  It was delightful to think of the east/west cultural mix in this recital.

By the way, "Casta Diva" means "Pure Goddess" and is sung in Bellini's opera "Norma" by the high priestess of the Druids, who have been invaded by the Romans.  Unknown to her followers, she has fallen in love with a Roman, hence her dilemma.

Whatever the transgressions of T. V. may be in their popular programming, offerings such as these digital concerts (on YouTube) compensate for much.

About Union––poem by Dorothy

About Union

Yes, I know about union,
the time when the dark god
slips in and you and he
are twinned.

There is majesty in abundance
when certain music strikes the ear
and you no longer know
if sound is arriving from without
or from your own heart.

Always we are sounding boards
for what we cannot name,
something that lives
within, without,
we know not.

When He Comes––poem by Dorothy

When He Comes

These moments of rapture,
they come suddenly,
unexpectedly.

When he comes,
I answer.
Who am I
to refuse a god?

Who am I
to speak
of right and wrong,
good and bad behavior?

Always he lies in wait
and springs when I
least expect it.

Always I must be open,
ready to receive
the one without a name.

Fred :LaMotte––The Sensuality of God

THE SENSUALITY OF GOD
Written by Fred LaMotte
(In honor of Orthodox Easter, April 19: Blessings!)
Spirituality is not the renunciation of the senses, but their refinement to the subtlest of all sensations: God. God is the most sensuous of delights.

Meditation refines sensation through silence. Our spiritual practice cultivates finer perception until taste and smell may sense the flavor and fragrance of pure Being; sight may gaze at the light shining from Divine Darkness; touch may feel the inner caress of this Breath, and the hug of earth's great breathing upon the skin; hearing may listen to the hum of Silence, which contains the music of the galaxies.

The sixth sense organ is the mind. Meditation refines the mind just as it refines the other organs of perception. When the restless mind settles into stillness, thought is transcended, no image limits awareness, the bliss of emptiness becomes full, and the mind relishes Infinity.

The seventh and deepest sense organ is the soul. The soul, "I Am," does not oppose matter, it is just at the opposite end of the spectrum. Matter and spirit are one continuum of divine energy, from the dense to the subtle. Soul is the fine end of the continuum, the subtlest of the senses.

When, through meditation, the soul becomes "poor in spirit," this is boundless wealth. In the heart of silence, the soul transcends its soulness, flows beyond the root of its individuality, and enters the seed, Christ. This loss is rich indeed. For when the droplet becomes the sea, the sea becomes the droplet. Now Christ is the Self of the soul.

In ancient India, this exquisite affair was represented by the love-making of Radha and Krishna in the garden of Vridavan. In the Biblical tradition, it is the union of the Bride and the Royal Bridegroom in the Song of Songs, which is why the Song of Songs has always been the favorite Biblical book of Western mystics. It is at once the most sensuous and spiritual of poems.

When we enter into this marriage, all our senses feel the transcendental kiss of God, who has created the earth and its sensory pathways just to lead us back to this place, the wild garden in the heart, where the seed is stored.

God is the cosmic sensation, the passion of a soul so voluptuously in love that she transcends all boundaries. God whispers to this soul, "You are the garden, I am the Spring." And the soul sings, as the Bride in the poem, "My beloved is mine, and I am my beloved's. Come into your garden, and feed among the lilies."

What the Yogi Said poem by Dorothy

What the Yogi Said

You ask how I can speak
of joy, of love,
when so many are suffering
or in pain.

God does not change
as we pass through
our troubles.
"God" (the Goddess) is immutable,
ever fixed,
watching us struggle
with our challenges,
holding us as we transmute
into the thing we really are,
the perfect self,
infinite love,
now and ever,
holy creation.

God is love/bliss,
and so are we.

The Wild Card

The Wild Card

(FOR JACQUIE AND ED, MY PRIVATE ANGELS, WHO KEEP ME AFLOAT IN THIS SEA OF CHAOS AND BLISS)

When it happens,
it turns you upside down
and all the coins fall out
of your pocket,
your appointment book
goes blank,
and you are a child of wonder,
everything changing
from black and white to technicolor.

The earth starts spinning
at a different rate,
everyone is you
and you them,
how can anybody stand
so much love?

Your identity card
is in tatters,
your sense of self
lost in rapture,
nothingness your portion,
but you don't care,
you are now just
a pulsating particle
in an invisible body
of bliss.

The Cave of Secrets––poem by Dorothy

The Cave of Secrets

There are many passageways
into the Cave of Secrets.

Some find the opening
by wailing and threshing about,
hoping for an answer.

Some discover it in quietude,
silence and prayer,
soft light descending.

Earnest pilgrims wake up one day,
find they are already there,
already know the secrets,
hold them in their heart,
whisper them to others
in unfamiliar syllables,
unknown tongues.

The Faithful Lover–poem by Dorothy

The Faithful Lover

When I was looking for you
I cried aloud.

When I found you,
I wept for joy.

Now we are one
in quiet wedlock,
you invisible as always,
me patiently waiting.

Occasionally you appear once again,
fresh as ever.

That's how I know
you will never leave.

David Whyte––Easter Morning in Wales

Easter Morning In Wales

A garden inside me, unknown, secret,
Neglected for years,
The layers of its soil deep and thick.
Trees in the corners with branching arms
And the tangled briars like broken nets.

Sunrise through the misted orchard,
Morning sun turns silver on the pointed twigs.
I have woken from the sleep of ages and I am not sure
If I am really seeing, or dreaming,
Or simply astonished
Walking toward sunrise
To have stumbled into the garden
Where the stone was rolled from the tomb of longing.

Andrew Harvey––webinar on Engoldenment

The Shift Network
Dear Dorothy,

Andrew Harvey’s insight into what’s happening with us spiritually during this global crisis was incredibly inspiring. Were you able to catch his event earlier today?

After sharing how he’s personally facing our current health crisis and his perspective on why it’s happening now, he shared five ancient practices to help you stay calm and centered through this very tumultuous time.

In case you missed this enlightening hour, or wish to watch it again, we recorded the whole event for you:

5 Sacred Practices to Protect You During Times of Crisis:
How to Remain Calm, Open & Strong

Andrew also shared details about his new upcoming 12-week course, The Engoldenment Course: Experience Rebirth Through the Dark Night With Powerful Alchemical Practices.

In this live audio course, you’ll explore how the world’s great mystical traditions have prepared us for such a time, and discover tools and practices to help you ride out the storm…

... and come out the other side of this with a higher level of consciousness, compassion, generosity, love, inner peace, and a passion to serve humanity.

With nine modules and three integration sessions, Andrew will guide you toward a radical transfiguration process.

During this intimate and courageous journey, you’ll discover:

Timeless spiritual practices the great mystical traditions shared with us long ago — to prepare us for this very moment in time
The direct experiences of those who’ve been deep in the throes of their transfiguration processes — for instance, many people describe a feeling of the body becoming its own immense universe
What you can learn from discoveries in modern astrophysics — and how to apply this wisdom to your own transfiguration journey
Why transfiguration can only take place after you understand the divinity of your fundamental nature — the deathless self
Your physical mind’s defeatist memory that can often leave you feeling lost or imprisoned
How you can descend into the depths of your physical mind to experience the darkness — then find your own way through it
And more...
And, a reminder that today, Saturday, April 11, is your last chance to receive the following bonus when you register for Andrew’s course:

The Importance of Thomas Aquinas
In this video, Andrew Harvey and Matthew Fox discuss the sacred and timely importance of one of Christianity’s most important mystics, Thomas Aquinas. They show how Aquinas had a comprehensive vision of both the transcendent and embodied divine, and they demonstrate how this vision can help humanity now embody the divine on every level.

Discover more about Andrew Harvey’s new 12-week live audio training — including how to enroll and claim your bonus — right here.

For those who may not know Susan Kullman, she is a contributing teacher in The Mystery School for a New Paradigm. If you haven’t worked with her before you’re in for a treat. She is a fantastic teacher and deeply knowledge about methods for coping with fear and anxiety.

Andrew Harvey on Shift––on the Current Crisis

The Shift Network
Dear Dorothy,

Over the last few weeks, many of us have been wondering if there are deeper meanings in our current health crisis that we need to learn in order to move forward.

Aside from the deep understanding that our planet needs profound healing, many of us are also realizing that we need to shift our consciousness as we figure out how to move through life with all these new social distancing measures.

Andrew Harvey, an internationally renowned scholar and mystic, reminds us that many of the great mystical traditions throughout history foresaw this moment of worldwide catastrophe and have equipped us with every practice and tool we need...

… which is why I’m looking so forward to Andrew’s new 12-week course, The Engoldenment Course: Experience Rebirth Through the Dark Night With Powerful Alchemical Practices.

In this live audio course, Andrew will guide you toward a radical transfiguration process that can help you discover how to shed your illusions and embody an awakened life.

Why your intellectual and emotional minds are trying to keep you safe — yet are also holding you back on this spiritual journey
Your physical mind’s hypnotic power... and why it’s the most difficult of all of the layers of the body to transfigure
How to spiritually prepare for what’s next — for you as an individual, and for humanity and our larger world
You can hear Andrew talk about this course himself during Saturday’s complimentary encore of his hour-long video event:
5 Sacred Practices to Protect You During Times of Crisis: How to Remain Calm, Open & Strong

Sometimes life hands us challenges so immense, so heartbreaking, that we go through an initiation that radically changes who we are and what we do...

In this transfiguration process, the solution is not to fix or deny the challenge. It's to experience the depth and breadth of suffering...

... and transmute the suffering into something completely new that leads to a more joyful, impassioned, and magnificent life!

Jeff Carreira––Artists of Possibility

Hi Dorothy,

So many of us who have dedicated our lives to producing courses and content, are looking for ways to provide support, opportunities for growth and social contact during these challenging times…

…and I mean as much for ourselves as well as you.

I’m happy to announce a new series of free weekly presentations that you are welcome to join live on Tuesday evenings at 8pm US Eastern Time.

The series is called Artists of Possibility: Exploring the Varieties of Visionary Genius and I couldn’t be more excited to offer it to you.

Each week I will be present on a different visionary genius – people who dedicated their lives to self-actualization and creative expression.

These are writers, artists and thinkers who each made a valuable contribution to the world, often in spite of personal and social hardship.

This time of global crisis provides a unique opportunity to examine what it means to be human while we explore the very edges of our individual and collective potential.

You will gain fascinating insight, not only into the work of four remarkable individuals, but more importantly, into what it might mean for you to serve a visionary function in the world.

Please join me next Tuesday, April 7th at 8:00pm US Eastern Time for the first presentation, where we will explore the solitary dreamer Fernando Pessoa - Portugal’s greatest modern poet.

To register, go to https://jeffcarreira.com/events/artists-of-possibility/

(Note: Pessoa was a very strange fellow and one of the most fascinating of our modern poets.  You won't regret learning about him.)

These FREE webinars are designed to boost your health and wellness in every way and to maximize your chances of staying healthy during this pandemic.

In these hour-long sessions, we will interview a number of pioneering doctors and specialists, who will give you detailed advice about natural substances that kill viruses; the best supplements, foods and exercises to boost your immune system, and the best techniques to stay calm and centered during these challenging times.

By simply signing up, you will have the ability to sit in on, and ask questions to these leading pioneers.

All of the webinars are recorded, and everyone who signs up will receive recordings of all four webinars plus handouts of helpful relevant tips.
Part 2: The Best Food to Supercharge your Immune System

In this webinar, Bryan and I will interview Dr Robert Verkerk, Executive and Scientific Director of Alliance for Natural Health, an international health advocacy group, and Dr Jeanne Drisko, former professor of Integrative Medicine at Kansas University Medical Center, and currently medical director of Alliance for Natural Health USA. Both these experts, who advise governments, businesses and consumers about healing foods and nutritional therapies, will discuss the best foods and diet to strengthen your immune system and why most of the advice you've been given by the authorities about food and diet during this epidemic are wrong.

God Your Lover––Poem by Dorothy

God Your Lover
"Never trust a god who doesn't dance."
                               Daniel Danilou

No matter what I may have said yesterday,
today I embrace another truth:
Ecstasy is real, the final affirmation,
the holy union and joining of self
as human
and the unseen divine.

How can you describe it?

How can you tell anyone
what it is like
to be invaded, assaulted,
seized and ravished
by something you can neither
see nor describe?

Summon all your courage

and let it have its way
with you,
your subtle and holy body,
your feeling self.

Know that this is
the heavenly lover,
the world suitor,
telling you secrets
of the flesh and spirit,
creator and destroyer,
who seeks to allow you
this brief glimpse,
this minute taste
of the reality
from which you came,
cosmic orgasm,
universal explosion,
now awakening you
through grace,
through hidden alchemy,
into the awareness
that many seek
and often do not find,
who remakes and transfigures your body
every hour of every day,
each tissue and cell,
accept the kiss,
receive the blessing,
do not refuse the Beloved
who is God.
