More Symptoms of Kundalini Awakening––Denise Le Fay

AUGUST 2, 2011  COMMENTS
GUESS WHAT, THEY’RE KUNDALINI RISING ASCENSION SYMPTOMS!

I see daily Search terms on my Stats page from increasing numbers of people searching for information about why they’re feeling inner body vibrations; why they’re smelling smokey burning incense; why they’re having excessive inner heat (hot flashes) in their bodies that radiate outward and so on. I thought it was time to try again to help more people being activated now to better understand what they’re experiencing and why.

Over the years I’ve written several articles about the many Ascension symptoms, about Kundalini rising and its symptoms, and about the Rewiring of the Body and Brain. The bottom-line is that allof these symptoms, all of these unusual experiences are the same Process. They all are Ascension symptoms, Kundalini symptoms, because they’re one and the SAME thing.

What better, faster way to transmute all our lower frequencies and unresolved, polarized, suppressed, ignored, wounded, fearful, traumatized, unprocessed and unloved parts than the intense Alchemical firestorm that Kundalini rising is? Why would mass numbers of people around the world all be having spontaneous, unsolicited Kundalini rising now? Because of the planetary and species Ascension Process. Why is the Ascension Process happening now in our lifetimes? Because the cycle is completing and it’s time to break free and evolve out from under the multidimensional negativity and suppression.

To help humanity with this rapid and compressed evolutionary process, higher dimensional Light energies are repeatedly released in Waves of Light — think Aquarian energy waves   — from the cosmos, the Milky Way Galactic Center, and our Sun (via solar flares, solar winds, solar storms, CME’s etc.) to trigger humanity and Earth to integrate density and Duality, purge, transmute and transform energetically. In other words, to evolve/ascend to a higher level of consciousness, being and reality.

ASCENSION KUNDALINI SYMPTOMS

These symptoms can last for many years for many people. Other people go through them or only some of them in shorter periods. Fear not.

repeated intense inner body heat “hot flashes”, hands and/or bottoms of feet extremely hot, spine, back, head, entire body heat
extreme sweating with every Kundalini hot flash
repeated cold flashes, inner body cold spots, certain chakra areas turn cold for periods
inner body electrical-like vibrations, buzzing, inner shaking, slowly moving inner energy vibrations of the Rewiring Process
extra electricity in your body, constantly getting zapped when you touch things
muscle spasms, twitching, itching, strange sensations on or under the skin, nerve sensitivity
pains & pressures in areas of spine, pressures so intense it blows certain vertebra out-of-place
mental confusion, inability to focus mentally, temporary loss of certain words, names, terms etc.
sudden mood changes, intense anger, frustration, sadness, joy, bliss, repulsion of all things negative
going a little “crazy” for periods
uncontrollably voicing your extreme anger & repulsion over all things negative
clairvoyantly seeing lights, seeing other dimensional Beings
smelling smokey burning incense when none is physically there
clairaudiently hearing non-physical sounds, voices, words, clicks, buzzing, unrecognizable sounds
sudden waves of nausea
sudden waves of dizziness, sense of falling, sense of tipping over, dropping through the floor etc.
sudden onset of or increase of allergies
sudden onset of chemical sensitivity
severe sensitivity to sounds, smells, lights, heat, cold, energies, other people, lower energies, lower consciousness etc.
sudden eating/food changes, craving more protein foods, needing very light foods, small amounts, eating at different times etc.
difficulty digesting all foods, inability to drink alcohol, take drugs etc.
phases of diarrhea, bowel sensitivities, bloating, pains & pressures
severe belly bloat, swelling in the gut & upper diaphragm area, the “Buddha Belly” thing
intense phases of pain in the head, pressures in the head, skull sore and bruised feeling
inability to physically be around people and/or large groups of people
inability to function, need for privacy & quiet to survive all you’re living through
hair falling out, breaking, not growing, weak undernourished hair
nightmares, archetypal dreams, lucid dreams
positive & negative psychic experiences, psychic attacks while awake & asleep
sudden unexpected out-of-body experiences
repeatedly waking at specific times in the night–1:11, 3:00, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 AM etc.
inability to sleep, inability to remain asleep
needing to sleep and get out-of-body during the day, exhaustion naps
profound physical exhaustion, emotional exhaustion, mental exhaustion
body weakness, muscle weakness, lethargy, achy body, bones, joints
hyper states, restless, edgy, can’t relax, can’t rest or get comfortable, mind races despite exhausted body
extreme emotional phases, crying, weeping, mourning, feeling higher love for all beings etc.
glorious changes and expansions in consciousness, perceptions, quantum knowing things vs. linear thinking
major ego dismantling
There are many more symptoms but you should have a sense of how intense, strange, and multidimensional most of the Ascension Kundalini symptoms are. What’s really important about all this is that it’s happening to you and to increasing numbers of people every minute of every day now and why. Again, fear not because it’s a positive sign of our compressed evolution, our expanding consciousness and all the positive things that naturally comes with it.

Ann Rick––Awakening, Bliss, Carousels and Synchronicities

Above picture is of Gail Kinzer, who visited here this week along with Rose Roberts, both former students, both now grandmothers.

Here are some exchanges of correspondence between me and Ann Krohn Rick, a friend I have met recently.  She is undergoing deep spiritual transformation, including Kundalini awakening.

Dorothy,

I read your latest blog post about Satchitananda. I can't agree more!

Since "reawakening" last year, I can only describe this energy that travels up my core, "forming" my very center, as "in-forming" me, bringing me Knowledge. I think this is probably the etymology of the word "Information" in a certain way.

Lately I feel like Eve in the Garden of Eden. I make Love with a Snake that brings certain Knowledge about the "Tree of Eternal Life."

Also, I've been looking over Rilke's "Dueno Elegies and Sonnets to Orpheus," again, the poetry that was the catalyst in my own Kundalini experience so many years ago. In retrospect, I think the Sonnets describe the feeling of the enlightenment. Even the first lines: "A tree sprang up! O Sheer Transcendence! O Tall Tree in the Ear! O Orpheus Sings!" seem to be the feeling of the initial jolt: a "tree" springing up your very core... and then "hearing" transcendent "knowledge."

Also, I have been singing a lot. I think perhaps I have been, or am meant to be, someone who Sings people to the other side...

It turns out the hospice nurse who visits my mom also sings, and we both harmonized on Amazing Grace in the resonant entry-way at my mother's home.

Hope to see you soon, Dorothy. It has meant a lot to me to be able to connect with someone who understands this process at an intimate level.

The "Bliss" definitely is also "Knowledge." Perhaps said another way, Consciousness IS Love.
Ann

Me to Ann:

I like that you are singing these days.  Yesterday my visiting friends and I rode the amazing Carousel called “Carousel of Happiness.”  It is quite wonderful––animals made by a wood carver who has spend 20 years perfecting them.  They play the old time circus music and indeed, it does make you happy.  It was a fun reprieve from the current issues and concerns.  We should go there sometime (Nederland) and also eat at Katmandu, one of the best Nepalese restaurants I have ever found, and find it amazing that it is located in such an unlikely place.

Ann to me:

Hi Dorothy

What a coincidence (synchronicity?) about the Carousel of Happiness! In July I try to take one day off per week to hike with my longtime buddy Judy. This month took us twice to Hesse and Fourth of July trailheads above Eldora/Nederland. After our hikes it is our custom to ride the Carousel of Happiness and get ice cream across the street at the Blue Owl.

This week, right after finishing our hike and returning to my car, a young Frenchman who had been backpacking the high country for four days asked us for a ride to Boulder. We invited him to join us for Carousel and ice cream. I speak French because I lived a year or so in Montpellier, where, coincidentally his grandmother lives! A grand time was had by all. He rode the moose which he said was highly ironic since he was trying, but never succeeded, in seeing a moose during his sojourn in the high country.

Did you know the Wurlitzer organ is from 1913 and plays all the music?

My reply:

Hi,
Well, that is indeed a synchronicity!  Actually, I was a bit hesitant to send you that post, lest you think I was frivolous for liking such a down to earth entertainment.  So glad you know it and love it too.  I think the music is terrific.  And, to be totally honest, I just watched the others ride, because I was a bit woozy from the altitude and was afraid of getting dizzy.  But I have ridden it in the past and loved the adventure.  And—it happens that one of us (Gail) loves the ice cream at the Blue Owl and went over to get a cone (I can’t digest milk, so had to refrain, but I got a lovely vegetable spring roll in the grocery there plus some home made muffins.) We also ate at Katmandu, that amazing Nepalese jewel in Nederland.

Note:  Often such synchronicities become more common in your life after Awakening.

About Artificial Intelligence and Ultimate Truth (Satcitananda)

from Dorothy:
I wrote the following last night after reading an article by a respected pioneer researcher and inventor in the field of consciousness, matter, and energy.

I am not a mathematician nor a scientist.  But for many years I have been intrigued by the ideas emerging from the ongoing discoveries of the new physics, including the recent theories pertaining to AI.   Although  I have not read these reports with any degree of sophistication, I have perused them with interest and attention and indeed these novel concepts have provoked in me certain responses, which I summarize below.

My main concern (to go the heart of the matter) is that AI, no matter how it is presented, does not include feeling.  Concepts do not include feeling.  Notions do not have feeling.  Ideas themselves do not have feelings.  Devices that replicate rational human thought processes do not have feelings.

Thus, when we posit "consciousness" as a basic aspect of reality, we omit an essential component––indeed the essence–of that awareness that reveals "who we really are."

Satcitananda:

"Satcitānanda represents "existence, consciousness, and bliss" or "truth, consciousness, bliss."  It is an epithet and description for the subjective experience of the ultimate, unchanging reality in Hinduism called Brahman"  (from Wikipedia)

Sat is existence and of course we exist.  Cit is consciousness and of course we are conscious (in the usual sense of this word).  But what is bliss?  Is it merely the joy that we know when we think about the world about us and contemplate its nature?  I think it is far more.  I believe that this bliss is the core of "great consciousness"––awareness of both the cosmic field of knowingness and human perception of that which informs and sustains the universe.

This is a big claim.  But my own experience verifies that when we enter a state in which we experience total, overwhelming, boundless love (as felt in our own blood and veins and cells), then we then are in alignment with the universal swirling dynamic and undefinable impulse that powers the universe and all that is in it.  This connection can be known only when it is realized internally and individually.  It can come about through Kundalini awakening.  This realization is known as Awakening or Moksha or Enlightenment in different traditions.  We will never think our way to such realizations.  God is not a concept nor a notion nor a thought nor an idea.  It is not captured through theories or diagrams or formulations.  It is the territory, not the map, the lost treasure unearthed and brought home.  It is a felt reality and we can only know it through the coursing of infinite love through our bodies, not as sexual flow but rather as sublimated energy, the source itself transformed and embodied in our own fleshly forms and felt as rapture.

It is like any form of love.  It cannot be seen or measured or weighed, yet it is undeniably present, and is validated through the experience itself.

This is why ultimately AI has no real relevance or significance, though it offers interesting material for speculation.  It misses the core element, the awareness that is union with divine reality.  This state opens us to Oneness and our realization of who we really are––infinitely small vibrating particles within the body of the vast indefinable, ineffable Source.

Kundalini and Ultimate Truth

The previous article on the Vedas and Quantum Physics is fascinating but for most of us it is a bit difficult to follow.   Indeed, I feel that it would take perhaps years of study and reflection to absorb all the information presented here.

However, I believe that Kundalini rapture allows the practitioner to experience the ideas that the this article presents in a more tangible fashion. One knows Oneness at the most immediate level. This rapture is, I believe, the nature of the universal field of energy that creates and sustains all that is. Some call this the divine reality, some call it God. Since we, with our limited human intellect, can never fully comprehend the nature of the ultimate, this state of consciousness may be the closest we can come to understanding the mystery which surrounds, infuses and sustains us in our "individual" lives.

I call this awareness the connection with the "Beloved Within." (Ananda).

I feel that when we awaken to this reality, we then taste Enlightenment, or Moksha.

The Vedas and Quantum Physics

Did Quantum Physics come from the Vedas?

The convergence of Spirituality and Science

from upliftconnect.com/quantum-physics-vedas/

(This is a long article but it contains extremely valuable information on the relation of science and spirituality. It is worth your time if you are interested in such matters. I am going to publish it before giving the source, lest I lose it.)
Quantum physics explains the nature and behaviour of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level, and began with a number of different scientific discoveries from the the 1838 discovery of cathode rays, to the quantum hypothesis and photoelectric effect. The term quantum mechanics was coined in the early 1920’s by a group of physicists at the University of Gottingen.
In the 1920’s quantum mechanics was created by the three great minds: Werner Heisenberg, Niels Bohr and Erwin Schrödinger, who all read from and greatly respected the Vedas, the ancient Indian sanskrit texts on spirituality. They elaborated upon these ancient books of wisdom in their own language and with modern mathematical formulas in order to try to understand the ideas that are to be found throughout the Vedas, referred to in the ancient Sanskrit as “Brahman,” “Paramatma,” “Akasha” and “Atman.” As Schrödinger said, “some blood transfusion from the East to the West to save Western science from spiritual anaemia.”
Erwin Schrödinger studied the Vedas extensivelyErwin Schrödinger studied the Vedas extensively

Turning to the Vedas for Answers

The famous Danish physicist and Nobel Prize winner, Niels Bohr was a follower of the Vedas. He said, “I go into the Upanishads to ask questions.” Both Bohr and Schrödinger were avid readers of the Vedic texts and observed that their experiments in quantum physics were consistent with what they had read in the Vedas.
Niels Bohr got the ball rolling around 1900 by explaining why atoms emit and absorb electromagnetic radiation only at certain frequencies. Then, in the 1920’s Erwin Schrödinger, an Austrian-Irish physicist who won the Nobel prize, came up with his famous wave equation that predicts how the Quantum Mechanical wave function changes with time. Wave functions are used in Quantum Mechanics to determine how particles move and interact with time.
In the 1920’s, Werner Heisenberg formulated his famous uncertainty principal, which states that when a physicist attempts to observe a subatomic particle, the experimental apparatus inevitably alters the subatomic particle’s trajectory. This is because they are trying to observe something that is of the same scale as the photons they are using to observe it.
Werner Heisenberg QuoteWerner Heisenberg Quote

To be more specific, to observe something that is subatomic in size, one must use a device that projects photons at the particle being observed. This is because the reception of photons by our retina is what we call vision. Basically, to observe something, we must bounce photons off it. The problem is that the photons disturb the subatomic particles because they are of the same size. Thus, there is no way to observe subatomic particles without altering their trajectories.
Bohr, Heisenberg and Schrödinger regularly read Vedic texts. Heisenberg stated, “Quantum theory will not look ridiculous to people who have read Vedanta.” Vedanta is the conclusion of Vedic thought.
Furthermore, Fritjof Capra, when interviewed by Renee Weber in the book The Holographic Paradigm (page 217–218), stated that Schrödinger, in speaking about Heisenberg, has said: “I had several discussions with Heisenberg. I lived in England then [circa 1972], and I visited him several times in Munich and showed him the whole manuscript chapter by chapter.

Did Ancient Vedic teachers have an inherent understanding of quantum theory?

He was very interested and very open, and he told me something that I think is not known publicly because he never published it. He said that he was well aware of these parallels. While he was working on quantum theory he went to India to lecture and was a guest of Tagore. He talked a lot with Tagore about Indian philosophy. Heisenberg told me that these talks had helped him a lot with his work in physics, because they showed him that all these new ideas in quantum physics were in fact not all that crazy. He realized there was, in fact, a whole culture that subscribed to very similar ideas. Heisenberg said that this was a great help for him. Niels Bohr had a similar experience when he went to China.”
“This life of yours which you are living is not merely a piece of this entire existence, but in a certain sense the whole; only this whole is not so constituted that it can be surveyed in one single glance. This, as we know, is what the Brahmins [wise men or priests in the Vedic tradition] express in that sacred, mystic formula which is yet really so simple and so clear; tat tvam asi, this is you. Or, again, in such words as “I am in the east and the west, I am above and below, I am this entire world.” – Schrödinger

The Vedic understanding of universal oneness

‘The Only Solution Lies in the Upanishad’
Schrödinger, in speaking of a universe in which particles are represented by wave functions, said, “The unity and continuity of Vedanta are reflected in the unity and continuity of wave mechanics. This is entirely consistent with the Vedanta concept of All in One.”
The multiplicity is only apparent. This is the doctrine of the Upanishads. And not of the Upanishads only. The mystical experience of the union with God regularly leads to this view, unless strong prejudices stand in the West. There is no kind of framework within which we can find consciousness in the plural; this is simply something we construct because of the temporal plurality of individuals, but it is a false construction… The only solution to this conflict insofar as any is available to us at all lies in the ancient wisdom of the Upanishad. – Erwin Schrödinger
“In 1925, the world view of physics was a model of the universe as a great machine composed of separable interacting material particles, During the next few years, Schrödinger and Heisenberg and their followers created a universe based on superimposed inseparable waves of probability amplitudes. This new view would be entirely consistent with the vedantic concept of the All in One.” (Schrödinger: Life and Thought (Meine Weltansicht), p. 173)

Unity and Continuity

No Multiplicity of Selves

In Schrödinger’s famous essay on determinism and free will, he expressed very clearly the sense that consciousness is a unity, arguing that this “insight is not new… From the early great Upanishads the recognition Atman = Brahman (the personal self equals the omnipresent, all-comprehending eternal self) was in Indian thought considered, far from being blasphemous, to represent, the quintessence of deepest insight into the happenings of the world. The striving of all the scholars of Vedanta was, after having learnt to pronounce with their lips, really to assimilate in their minds this grandest of all thoughts.”
According to Moore on page 125 of his biographical work, A Life of Erwin Schrödinger, Schrödinger found “Vedanta teaches that consciousness is singular, all happenings are played out in one universal consciousness and there is no multiplicity of selves… The stages of human development are to strive for Possession (Artha), Knowledge (Dharma), Ability (Kama), Being (Moksha)… Nirvana is a state of pure blissful knowledge. It has nothing to do with individual. The ego or its separation is an illusion. The goal of man is to preserve his Karma and to develop it further – when man dies his karma lives and creates for itself another carrier.”
The above quote clearly demonstrates Schrödinger’s firm belief in reincarnation.
From death to life, everything is connectedFrom death to life, everything is connected
Quantum Mechanics
In 1935, Einstein Prodolsky and Rosen challenged Quantum Mechanics on the grounds that it was an incomplete formulation. They were the first authors to recognize that quantum mechanics is inherently non-local, which means it allows for instantaneous action across arbitrarily great distances. So an action in one place can instantly influence something on the other side of the universe in no time at all. This very powerful paper (The EPR paper) explaining Quantum Entanglement changed the world and alerted us to the magical implications of quantum mechanics’ metaphysical implications.
Albert Einstein regularly read the Bhagavad Gita: “When I read the Bhagavad-gita and reflect about how God created this universe everything else seems so superfluous… I maintain that the cosmic religious feeling is the strongest and noblest motive for scientific research.”

Albert Einstein on the Bhagavad Gita

Physicists have not yet ascertained whether Bohr and company or Einstein and company are right.
One thing that all this materialistic research has done is open up the doors for the world to look deeper into the validity of the Vedas. For, it is stated in the Bhagavad-gita, “A mundaner 1) is sure to commit mistakes, 2) is invariably illusioned, 3) has the tendency to cheat others and 4) is limited by imperfect senses. With these four imperfections, one cannot deliver perfect information of all-pervading knowledge.”
So no matter how many experiments we conduct, we can never come to the absolute truth using imperfect instruments of perception, even if we have a super brain like Einstein or Schrödinger. For our very minds, thoughts and power of intelligence only work on the platform of time and space and are rendered defective from being subject to the four defects that the Bhagavad-gita mentions.
Nuclear physicist Robert Oppenheimer learned Sanskrit to study the original Bhagavad GitaNuclear physicist Robert Oppenheimer learned Sanskrit to study the original Bhagavad Gita
Since scientists like Schrödinger did not possess a direct knowledge of Sanskrit to discern first-hand what the Vedic texts actually were saying, they were forced to read various translations of these great books of wisdom, such as the Upanishads. There are persons like Robert Oppenheimer who learned Sanskrit in 1933 and read the Bhagavad-gita in the original, citing it later as one of the most influential books to shape his philosophy of life: “The Vedas are the greatest privilege of this century.”
Upon witnessing the world’s first nuclear test in 1945, he instantly quoted Bhagavad-gita chapter 11, text 32, “Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.” Vedic texts such as the Bhagavad-gita and the Upanishads were collectively considered the most influential books ever written by eminent people like Thoreau, Kant, Schopenhauer, Schrödinger, Werner Heisenberg, Tesla, Einstein etc.

Vedic texts are often considered the most important writings of all time

Irrespective of east or west, great minds that come in contact with the Vedic texts agree that the ultimate reality remains timeless and changeless, and is contained in the Vedic texts, such as the Bhagavad-gita and the Upanishads. 300 years before Quantum Mechanics, Sir Isaac Newton came up with Classical Mechanics which describes very basic action and reaction. Newton’s entire work in Physics and Calculus was taken wholesale from the Vedas and Kerala book of Calculus. It was simply taken from the Vedas where it was originally used for calculating rates of change in Astronomy and Astrology for many thousands of years before Newton.

Nikola Tesla

Another genius scientist was Nikola Tesla. Along with the others mentioned above, he knew that the ancient Indian Brahmans (wise men), well equipped with knowledge from the Vedas, had understandings of the intricate laws, mathematical formulas and subtle workings of the universe that far surpass anything we can even imagine today.
Tesla understood that secrets lay in the VedasTesla understood that secrets lay in the Vedas
It is uncertain how Nikola Tesla was introduced to the Vedas. Much of Tesla’s life and work has been erased from history due to this mastermind inventor and scientist wanting to make the fruits of all his work available for free to the world (google “free energy Tesla” and your mind will be truly blown away). Unfortunately for us, because he was not trying to use his genius for profiteering and exploiting others he was met with one setback after another. His grants and funding were constantly being revoked by those that control the economy and trade. Nikola Tesla originally invented many things that we all use on a daily basis but most people have never even heard of him because his name was removed from common history (just like much of the teaching of the Vedas) and he was eventually murdered.
Tesla understood the great power of Zero Point Field or Akasha or Ether: the power of space between the electrons and the nucleus. Vivekanda’s effect on Tesla was so great that he became vegetarian, celibate and started using Sanskrit words. He died with his scalar energy science in his head, because he did NOT want the US military to use it to destroy the planet. No wonder he was denied the Nobel prize and eventually killed. Knowledge is power, and there are many people that want all the power for themselves.

Empowered by Krishna

Tesla wanted to give power to everyone for free! He was actually the first person to figure out how to make radio communication possible across the Atlantic ocean. But because he wanted to make this ability free for others his funding was stopped and the credit was later given to someone else that played the power game better than him.
All of Tesla’s engineering was done in his head, he never worked things out on paper or used scale models to come to a functioning final result. He was truly empowered by Krishna. Things would appear in his head and he would simply record it exactly as it came to him, similar to Beethoven.
The gift of mental power comes from God, divine being, and if we concentrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great power… Our senses enable us to perceive only a minute portion of the outside world. – Nikola Tesla

Rapture Returns

Often we experience "dry spells" in our spiritual practice.  Nothing seems to be happening.  We wonder if the magic has gone out of our lives and if we will ever experience sweet transcendence again.

Like many saints who have gone through such arid periods, we wonder if somehow the inner Lover has forsaken us, if somehow we "didn't do it right," or even, in the case of some Christian saints, if god has turned his back on us.

Then, suddenly it all comes back.  Once more we experience unconditional love, the sense of divine union, exultation of spirit.  And, even more, rapture flowing through our bodies as every pore and cell dances in ecstatic joy.

This was my experience yesterday.  It was with me from the moment I woke up.  I did my very simple but wondrous practice of moving my hands in circles near my body (about 8 inches away) and each movement awakened intense somatic rapture.  As one person commented, "Oh, I get it.  This is like sex, only different."  Indeed this is sublimated energy, natural energy transmuted to purely spiritual energy.  Exquisite, but something that is more than notions in the head, beyond thought: it is pure feeling.  And we know once again that this is the essence of who we truly are.

What bought about this bliss?  Some very good news for me.  I was planning to move into a different apartment, one that was very nice but lacked the view and sense of connection with the outdoors that I have where I presently live.  But at the last moment, I realized that this was not good for me, for I spend much of the winter inside, as the snow mounts and the ice forms.  I feared I would become claustrophobic in this situation, with nothing to see but a wooden wall outside.

By the grace of the goddess, my present address was still available, though prospective renters had already come by to check it out.  I was "saved" by, I believe, an act of grace, which enabled me to breath freely once more and to reconnect with my dear Beloved Within.  As always, we sealed our bond with a kiss.

Here is a poem I wrote several years ago about a similar experience:

KUNDALINI RETURNING AT THE SEASIDE

Ah, well, old rover,
you’ve come back again.
Won’t ask where you’ve been,

what company you’ve been keeping—
whether idling with some other tramp ready and willing
then wondering what she has
let herself in for,
or else a pious type
praying all night for a sign which finally comes,
moves in forever demanding ardor, what then?

Whatever, I’m not jealous,
just glad you’re home,
we wantons like
to take what comes,
and seize the day
whether it arrives
dressed in the latest look
or tattered rags,

summoned by some bar room tune or
 majestic concert in a hall.

As long as it is the familiar you.

As long as you knock and enter,
take up residence once again

as if you’d never left,
all promises and supplication as before.

ANNOUNCEMENT

NOTICE:

THIS BLOG WAS BEGUN AS A SITE FOR KUNDALINI AND OTHER SPIRITUAL MATTERS.  RECENTLY, I HAVE PUT MORE AND MORE POSTS ON OTHER TOPICS.  I HAVE DECIDED TO FOCUS ONCE MORE ON MY ORIGINAL SUBJECTS.  I MAY POST LESS FREQUENTLY HERE, BUT I WILL SAVE THE OTHER POSTS FOR MY FACEBOOK PAGE.

Why Affirmations Matter

Why Affirmations Matter

I must confess.  For years I have been skeptical of the power of affirmations to produce the results attributed to them by many.  I simply did not see how saying a few words could create welcome changes merely by repeating them.

Recently I have come to see the role of affirmations very differently.  Here is why:

I attended a recent presentation by a well known energy healer and she gave us an exercise that convinced me I was wrong.  Here is the exercise (it is very simple and only takes a few minutes.)

First, you hold your hands in front of you.  Then you place your palms together, noticing the creases at the base of your palm.  You take notice that your hands match in size.  Then you select one or the other hand to focus on.  You concentrate on making that hand bigger for a few minutes.  You envision it growing larger and larger, until it fills the room and then space itself.  When you feel you have "made it grow" for enough time, you bring your two palms together again and see if they are still a match.

When I did this, I saw that the fingers on one hand were significantly longer than those of the other.   I was amazed.

How did this happen?  Clearly there is a very close connection between mind and body.  We of course know this already, but for me this was convincing proof.

Now, what about affirmations?  Here is some evidence that is also very compelling.

Bruce Lipton has studied the effect of the surrounding environment on blood cells in the laboratory.  He finds that when the cells are in a welcoming atmosphere, they literally open up to receive more blood.  When the atmosphere is charged with negativity, they close down and no longer receive the same infusion.  Thus joy brings better health and depression creates the likelihood of illness.

The work of Emote on water has broken new ground.  He found that when the water crystals were bombarded with negative thoughts, they they became distorted and misshapen.  When they were given messages of love, they went into symmetrical form, reflecting the consciousness of the observer.  Sometimes he just pasted written messages in front of the crystals and the effect was the same.

Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird did groundbreaking studies of the interactions of human thought and plant reaction in the 70's.  (The Secret Life of Plants)  Their work provided strong indications that plants reacted strongly to the consciousness of the human with which they were associated.  Thus, when the observer thought of harming or killing the plant, the polygraph reacted strongly.  The plant also reacted in a positive way when the experimenter was making love many miles away.  Studies also have shown that plants grow more successfully when they are treated with love as well as when music is played for them.

All of these studies together present a convincing picture that thought definitely affects "matter," whether the matter is the human participant or another biological entity,

My conclusion:  yes, our affirmations can and do affect us, in ways that are just now beginning to be understood.  Thought does create reality and intention does influence results.
(My only caveat here is that there seem to be limits to what our own personal thoughts can achieve, particularly when we move to a more universal and global level.  But who knows what we might achieve if we band together to produce planet wide peace and love.

Trump's Ghost Writer Tells the Truth about the "Sociopath"

On Monday, The New Yorker published a fascinating reveal from Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter who helped pen Donald Trump's 1987 memoir, The Art of the Deal. He told the magazine that he felt a "deep sense of remorse" for writing the best-selling memoir.

"I put lipstick on a pig," he said. "I feel a deep sense of remorse that I contributed to presenting Trump in a way that brought him wider attention and made him more appealing than he is.”

"I genuinely believe that if Trump wins and gets the nuclear codes there is an excellent possibility it will lead to the end of civilization," he added.

Asked how he would rename the book today, Schwartz said he would call it "The Sociopath."  Trump now claims he wrote the book, but he did not.  Schwartz did and is ashamed that he made Trump look so good.  He now gives any profits from that book to specific charities.  Trump often claims he gives money to charities but there is no evidence that he actually does so.

from Dorothy:  Schwartz spent much time with Trump gathering information for the book.  He found that Trump had a very short attention span, lied and contradicted himself over and over, and often was incoherent.  Among other things, he lied about where he was born and where his family came from.  He lied about his business successes and his donations to charity.  He falls apart when he is criticized.   He sometimes has tantrums.  To put him in charge of nuclear weaponry would be disastrous.  He cares nothing for other people, including those who now support him.  He has no personal friends.  When other seeming friends are dying, he ignores them.   Indeed, he is a sociopath and very dangerous.

This article is a must read for sure.

Kundalini and Near Death Experiences

Last night I attended a fascinating panel by persons who had gone through a "near death" experience.  Once more, I was struck by the resemblance between NDE's and Kundalini awakening.  Here are some of their common features (often noted by other writers as well):

1. Each is a life changing event.  It is what Katherine Anne Porter called (in another context) "the moment that changes everything."  Once such profound encounters occur, one is charged forever and there is no going back to the earlier stage.

2. Both result in  states of overwhelming love.  Those who travel to "the other side" are so enraptured by their new sense of indescribable bliss that they feel that they are embraced by the vast and loving forces of the universe, even God itself.  Likewise, Kundalini, when it is in proper alignment, may result in absolute ecstasy, akin to that of St. Teresa of Avila or St. John of the Cross.  This condition of utter bliss is not a thought but a somatic experience at the cellular level.

3.  Both find in this new state that feelings of depression or self rejection simply disappear, for surely one cannot be sad in the fact of such overwhelming love.  Atheists become believers, doubters are convinced.  The "divine" is real and courses through the body as the Beloved Within.

4. Both have great difficulty in "returning" to the world where materialistic values and petty concerns are the norm.  They are now "walking in the two worlds," for they have been granted a vision of a reality that others do not know exists.

5.  Both are often reluctant to share this mysterious and intimate adventure with others, for it seems like a betrayal of that which is profoundly sacred.  Ultimately, they may come forth and  speak, as a gift to the world to understand this still unfamiliar experience.

6. Both now often have a sense of mission or  purpose, and seek a means of "giving back" the gift in whatever way is best suited to their capacities.  They may go into healing professions, or turn to artistic expressions, or writing.  Service, rather than personal gain, is now their motivating factor.

7.  Both experience great love for and a sense of oneness with all others.  They literally feel "I am you" and if I look in the mirror, it might be your face that I see. The world itself may appear in radiant beauty, transformed into a garden of mystic delight.  Everything, even the trash in the street, may be luminous. They may know at the deepest levels that everything and every being in the universe is connected as part of the one great whole, as part of the single fabric of the cosmos with love at the center of all.

8. They may be quite lonely in their journey, for others may be disbelieving or openly disapproving when they attempt to describe their encounters.  Family and friends may think they are mentally disturbed and need psychological help.  Mates may feel betrayed and see this new element as a disrupting element in their relationship.  Indeed, they may have no one to confide in, no one to support them as they struggle to integrate this new dimension of awareness into their lives.

8. Both may now be filled with the deep realization that each of us is a "fiction," a story that we ourselves have created, for we do not exist except as tiny particle in the great glory of the divine source.

9. Each experience is unique to the person.  Each one undergoes a pattern of responses relevant to their particular nature and life experiences.  Yet there are common threads among all of these.

10.  Universal awareness of both the NDE and Kundalini processes is becoming more widespread, in part because of media access and also because (I think) more such events are actually happening, especially those involving spontaneous Kundalini awakenings.

11.  Both phenoma are (I believe) parts of the ongoing process of evolution of consciousness now going on worldwide.  Both propel us forward as humanity transforms into a new kind of being, indeed perhaps a new species.

12. One of the dominant features of the NDE is the immersion into a sea of love at the other side.  Kundalini itself often produces a similar feeling of ecstatic joy.  Some authorities state that at the moment of death, the Kundalini energies are released and thus one may exit in a state of pure rapture.  Thus Kundalini is in fact an integral part of the death process itself.

The folks on the panel were each one a loving being, transformed into a messenger of the heart to help the planet move forward in our process of universal awakening to a new reality.

Inner Body Vibrations and Other Unusual Symptoms and Ascensions

from Dorothy:
This is a very comprehensive list of negative symptoms of Kundalini.  Few people would experience all of these.  Rather, one is likely to experience a particular set of symptoms, and these may come and go.

However, there is, in my view, a very serious omission here––the positive and affirming indications of Kundalini.  These may vary from light bliss to intense rapture.  Rapture is, in fact, the end state of the mystic journey.  It is truly a sense of "union," the time when the human feels at one with the divine.  "Kundalini is God moving through your body."  (from a psychic reader)  It is derived from the subtle energies when they are activated and in harmony with the cosmic energies.  Now we know how we are connected to the whole, the ultimate source of all that is.  I call this the state of connection with "the Beloved within," and indeed it is as though one is feeling a lover arousing the self from within.  For me at this state, it is attained by stroking the aura itself.  It is a literal expression of the idea that "God is love."  And indeed, this state is indeed evidence of our ascension into higher states of being.

from Denise Le Fay:
Inner Body Vibrations and Other Unusual Symptoms

No Going Back

No Going Back
Every Step Is Forward

by Madisyn Taylor

Sometimes during our spiritual growth we can feel as if we are going backwards, rest assured you are not.

There are times when we feel that we are spinning our wheels in the mud in terms of our spiritual progress. This can be especially true following a period of major growth in which we feel as if we’ve gained a lot of ground. In fact, this is the way growth goes—periods of intense forward movement give way to periods of what seems like stagnation. In those moments when we feel discouraged, it’s helpful to remember that we don’t ever really go backward. It may be that we are at a standstill because there is a new obstacle in our paths, or a new layer to get through, but the hard work we have done cannot be undone.

Every step on the path is meaningful, and even one that seems to take us backward is a forward step in the sense that it is what we must do to move to the next level. In addition, an intense growth spurt requires that we rest for a time in order to fully integrate the new energies that have been liberated by our hard work. When we feel we are not making progress, we can encourage ourselves to take a moment to rest. We can meditate more, feed ourselves well, and get extra sleep. Before we know it, we will be spurred on to work toward the next level of our development, and this rest will make sense then as something we needed in order to continue.

Once the sun rises, it doesn’t go backward but instead follows its path in one direction. It may appear to stand still for a moment in time, or to move more slowly at some point or another, but really it is steadily moving forward on its path. We are the same way, and once we have moved through something we can never really go back. We may be resting or revisiting issues that seem old, and it’s natural to feel stuck, but in truth we are always taking the next important step forward on our path.

Alliance for Global Consciousness

This new organization aims to bring together the efforts of many separate groups into a global cooperative entity.  It embraces everything from the study of near death to subtle energies to out of body experiences.  It is, I believe, a welcome step forward to unify and integrate the many existing societies into a single umbrella organization.

I much approve the idea, but I find that most of these existing groups do not include aspects of Kundalini as the major, abiding force for transformation of consciousness and the path to divine connection through the the actual experience of sacred love.  To me, they represent interesting and important explorations of states of expanded consciousness, but do not include the final discovery of how we are in fact parts of cosmic consciousness known through exquisite felt love flowing through from Source.

It's Time!  It's Here!
We are honored to be a part of it.

ISSSEEM and Holos University are taking the next step in establishing a global cooperative effort,
the Alliance for Global Consciousness (AGC).

The Alliance for Global Consciousness is an affiliation of like-minded organizations.  Our mission is to elevate our service to humankind and advance the evolution of our work, both individually and collectively, while moving further toward a shared purpose -

The transformation of human consciousness across the globe.

Our intent is that through such transformation we gain greater awareness of our unlimited nature, deepen our connection to and understanding of  the evolution and continuation of consciousness, and enjoy happier and more fulfilled lives.

Initiated by The Monroe Institute, the Alliance was inaugurated in 2015 by its founding members during a collaboration that resulted in the creation of the AGC's mission -

Connecting humankind
through experiencing expanded awareness.

To that end, the AGC mobilized a strong collective effort to assist its member organizations to become more vigorous and effective in the mutual exploration, understanding, and positive applications of consciousness.

Browse the AGC website, visit each organization's page, and check out our events.

The House of Cards is Collapsing

Is the house of cards beginning to crumble?

Trump’s Alma Mater Just Wrote Him A Letter: Go F*** Yourself

July 9, 2016 News

If Donald Trump ever had any friends at all, he’s losing them and he’s losing them quickly. Despite becoming the presumptive nominee of the Republicans party, even members of the GOP have come out against the bombastic billionaire for his racist rhetoric. Now comes word that even his own Alma Mater, the Wharton School of Finance, one of the top-twenty undergraduate business programs in the country, has come out against the new prince of the Republican party despite the fact that he always brags about the school. In a speech he recently gave in Arizona, trump said:

“I went to the Wharton School of Finance. I’m, like, a really smart person.”

But in a penned letter to Trump, Wharton students ripped Trump to threads, citing their disappointment and “outrage” at his racism and rhetoric. The letter was published on Medium and signed by 1,079 students:

“Dear Mr. Trump:

At the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, students are taught to represent the highest levels of respect and integrity. We are taught to embrace humility and diversity. We can understand why, in seeking America’s highest office, you have used your degree from Wharton to promote and lend legitimacy to your candidacy.

As a candidate for President, and now as the presumptive GOP nominee, you have been afforded a transformative opportunity to be a leader on national and international stages and to make the Wharton community even prouder of our school and values.

However, we have been deeply disappointed in your candidacy.

We, proud students, alumni, and faculty of Wharton, are outraged that an affiliation with our school is being used to legitimize prejudice and intolerance. Although we do not aim to make any political endorsements with this letter, we do express our unequivocal stance against the xenophobia, sexism, racism, and other forms of bigotry that you have actively and implicitly endorsed in your campaign.

The Wharton community is a diverse community. We are immigrants and children of immigrants, people of color, Muslims, Jews, women, people living with or caring for those with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ community. In other words, we represent the groups that you have repeatedly denigrated, as well as their steadfast friends, family, and allies.

We recognize that we are fortunate to be educated at Wharton, and we are committed to using our opportunity to make America and the world a better place — for everyone. We are dedicated to promoting inclusion not only because diversity and tolerance have been repeatedly proven to be valuable assets to any organization’s performance, but also because we believe in mutual respect and human dignity as deeply held values. Your insistence on exclusion and scapegoating would be bad for business and bad for the American economy. An intolerant America is a less productive, less innovative, and less competitive America.

We, the undersigned Wharton students, alumni, and faculty, unequivocally reject the use of your education at Wharton as a platform for promoting prejudice and intolerance. Your discriminatory statements are incompatible with the values that we are taught and we teach at Wharton, and we express our unwavering commitment to an open and inclusive American society.”

It’s wonderful to see that the future leaders of tomorrow are uniting to send a message to Trump. Their ideals are what America stands for, not the racist rhetoric and divisive message of Donald Trump.

"Her Dark Face"––poem by Dorothy

HER DARK FACE

You want to know about the goddess?
She will come into your life, stealthily,
or else like an explosion of flame from a great forest fire.

You will be torn to bits, to pieces of love,
of imagining,
of grasping
and moaning.

She will rend you
piece by piece,
until you cry out with rapture,
until you cry for mercy
of forgiveness,
satiety of
joy.

You will dance with her night after night,
never knowing who she is,
who you are,
where you came from,
where you are going.

Always, her dark face before you.

John O'Donohue––A Blessing for One Who is Exhausted

A Blessing for One Who is Exhausted

When the rhythm of the heart becomes hectic,
Time takes on the strain until it breaks;
Then all the unattended stress falls in
On the mind like an endless, increasing weight,

The light in the mind becomes dim.
Things you could take in yWWour stride before
Now become laborsome events of will.

Weariness invades your spirit.
Gravity begins falling inside you,
Dragging down every bone.

The ride you never valued has gone out.
And you are marooned on unsure ground.
Something within you has closed down;
And you cannot push yourself back to life.

You have been forced to enter empty time.
The desire that drove you has relinquished.
There is nothing else to do now but rest
And patiently learn to receive the self
You have forsaken for the race of days.

At first your thinking will darken
And sadness take over like listless weather.
The flow of unwept tears will frighten you.

You have traveled too fast over false ground;
Now your soul has come to take you back.

Take refuge in your senses, open up
To all the small miracles you rushed through.

Become inclined to watch the way of rain
When it falls slow and free.

Imitate the habit of twilight,
Taking time to open the well of color
That fostered the brightness of day.

Draw alongside the silence of stone
Until its calmness can claim you.
Be excessively gentle with yourself.

Stay clear of those vexed in spirit.
Learn to linger around someone of ease
Who feels they have all the time in the world.

Gradually, you will return to yourself,
Having learned a new respect for your heart
And the joy that dwells far within slow time.

Is It the Night of Becoming? ––poem by Dorothy

IS IT THE NIGHT OF BECOMING?

(Modeled after a poem by Bibi Hayati,
early 19th century female Sufi poet)

Is it the night of becoming,
or only the touch of your hand
across my face?

In the manuscript of awakening,
is it the key words
or only the shadow
of your pen?

Is it the roses
blooming
in the secret garden
or only the pines
rising before you?

Is it the perfume
of the forest
or the scent of’
the breeze that carries you?

Is it the lightning
whitening the mountain
or the brilliant rays
of your eyes?
My longing and sighing
or the steady beat of your heart?

Is it the wine of
a ritual celebration
or the intoxication
of your presence?
Is it your all seeing vision
or the magic you weave
when you come?

Is this a hallowed sanctuary
or a place of ignorant passion?
Is it the moment of union
or only a mistaken dream?

Always I seek
to be close to you,
longing to see
your hidden face.

Dorothy Walters

My new book––Some Kiss We Want, Poems Selected and New––will be published very
soon.  It has taken a long time, with some editors wanting to rewrite the poems according to their own taste, others seeking to make the poems conform to the Chicago Manual of Style (which is intended for academic writing.)  Should anyone want a digital copy, I will be happy to send one.
