Somebody wants to say something
In spite of myself
these words keep coming
through.
Somebody wants to keep
saying something,
and using my tongue
as a telegram.
Listen, I've got
appointments to keep,
places I need to go.
Answer: Be still,
my dear.
This is the appointment
you made in eternity,
before you were born.
It is the only one
that counts.
