Being Well Used
Peggy Wrenn
I want to be well used
by the world, used up
in the end, having given
all of myself.
I want not to be used
by other people who
see my urge to service
as something they
can own.
I welcome goddesses
whispering how to
tease these apart,
see the way through
into a new world.
