The Surprise (poem)
The Surprise
It says, I am not ready for this.
It says, you have always been
ready for this.
It says, I don’t know where
this is coming from.
It says, you know exactly where
this is coming from.
It says, I don't know how
to do this.
It says, you have always known
how to do this.
It says, what will happen
when you leave.
It says, I will never leave.
I am your body, brain,
and blood,
I am the One of all.
I am who you are.
