After That
After That
(for all who have experienced sudden awakening)
After that
everything
changed.
As if you
walked into
a familiar room,
chairs, mirrors
all in place
yet something different--
colors deepened to
a more lustrous hue,
the light moving
in unexpected patterns,
waves dissolving,
even the music
that you know so well
playing in a new key.
