The Sadhu (poem by Dorothy)
The Sadhu Expresses his Devotion
1.
Shiva, I give myself to you.
You are my body
and my breath.
What I have that is
not yours,
I fling away.
It is trash,
baubles worth nothing.
What you have given me,
cannot be weighed,
measured.
This is treasure
that has no value
on the market
of commercial wares.
This is the jewel
that cannot be purchased.
