If Your Heart
If your heart has not been
burnt to cinders,
how can you know
the taste of the flame?
If you have not drowned
in the ocean of love,
how can you measure
the embrace of the abyss?
If you have not felt
god’s kiss on your mouth,
how can you find
the death which is life?
