Today
Today the Way is abundantly joyful.
Lovers jostle for my attention,
enthusiastic and generous.
Christian mystics,
Sufi poets,
Buddhist monks,
Jungian analysts,
Jewish rabbis,
Kundalini energies,
Taoist sages ...
I hold my breath,
suspended in a state of
grateful expectation,
every pore open to
unimaginable adoration.
