Who are the dancing gods?
What is the name of those
who come to us and enter us
and make us splendid?
How is it
that they come so far
to be so close?
How is it that they
wish to claim us
and we wish to be
claimed,
ourselves
an altar of love?
When will they carry us
to the dancing ground
of the many nameless ones,
the great ones who ever
sing and dance together?
What will we do
if they should leave?
