Finally Married after 72 years (from Daily Kos Classics, July 5, 2015, 21 breathtaking photos)
Caption: "Iowa couple of seventy-two years finally get married."
I think this photo says it all, particularly when you consider the current divorce rate among heterosexual couples. It makes Fran Claggert's poem even more poignant ("all those years of silence.")
I hope someone will interview them for the archives.
