The Holy Temptress
The Holy Temptress
Her primary attribute
is that she is unpredictable.
Fickle suitor,
sometimes She enters
by cheek or brow,
sometimes by hands,
and again in the chakras,
high or low.
She is like a lover
who slips up behind
and gives you a kiss
on your neck
before you know who is
there.
Sometimes
She is waiting
when you wake up
ready to enfold you
in Her arms.
Always when She beckons
you come.
