The Real World
The Real World
They call it
the "real world,"
a place of markets
and disputes,
heady diversions.
For them,
nothing is real
that they cannot
purchase
or hold in their hands.
Sometimes I think
it is I
who am dreaming,
finding the world of joy within
in a place they call
"escapism."
Have they never been held
in the arms of the Beloved,
the invisible one who comes
and says
now is our time once again?
