Who Am I?
Who Am I?
Someone called me a sant.
Others thought I was bizarre.
Very young I fancied
I was the oracle at Delphi,
or some ancient Dalai Lama,
returned to earth.
Finally, the images faded,
and I gave up seeking my
lost self.
Rumi said,
"I am from some other place
and when I die I plan to
go there again."
I am with Rumi,
hope to return,
know I am not from any place
nearby.
