St. Augustine
"If you can understand it, it isn’t God."
St. Augustine
Indeed, what you know is a tiny fraction
of what there is to know.
What you see,
is merely an iota
of what there is to see.
What you feel is a tiny particle
of what there is to feel.
Yet, the mystery is there.
It will fill you totally
with its love.
Then you will know
that you are in fact
part of this vast, indefinable,
immeasurable reality
of all that is.
You will be swept up
in the arms of an unknown essence
you cannot see or name.
No matter how hard you try,
you will never understand it.
Yet you cannot deny
its truth.
It is who you are.
