Where the Beauty Resides––poem by Dorothy
Where the Beauty Resides
Will someone please tell me
what day it is,
what time?
More and more I keep on living
in that place that has no date,
and no timepieces are to be found.
And then when I return
to that other world,
the one they call "real"
with its clocks and calendars,
its appointment books and meetings,
I come blinking and dazed,
wonder what all the confusion is about,
yearn to hurry back to that other realm
where the beauty resides.
