Even Now
Even Now
In the body,
things happened that
I had no name for
and no one to tell me.
What was that strange current
that moved here and there,
now stroking my cheek,
now commanding me to dance?
Oh, sweet one,
you took me to places
that did not exist,
showed me panoramas,
landscapes where I had
never been.
Even now
you sometimes give me kisses
when I sleep.
